Michael Mawson

Dr. Michael Mawson teaches theology and ethics at the United Theological College of Charles Sturt University. He holds a PhD from the University of Notre Dame (USA) and previously taught at the University of Aberdeen (Scotland). His books include Christ Existing as Community: Bonhoeffer’s Ecclesiology (OUP, 2018); The Oxford Handbook of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, co-edited with Philip Ziegler (OUP, 2019); and The Freedom of a Christian Ethicist: The Future of a Reformation Legacy, co-edited with Brian Brock (T&T Clark, 2016). He is currently working on a book on theology and ageing, and has wider research interests in the theology of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, disability studies, postcolonial theology and Christian ethics.
