A Conversation with Dr. Raymond Tallis | Personhood, Neuroscience, Freedom & Common Life | May 26, 2022

Dr. Raymond Tallis is a philosopher, poet, novelist, cultural critic, and a retired medical physician and clinical neuroscientist. Over the last twenty years, he has published fiction, three volumes of poetry, and twenty-three books on the philosophy of mind, philosophical anthropology, literary theory, the nature of art, and cultural criticism. His work offers a critique of current predominant intellectual trends and an alternative understanding of human consciousness, the nature of language, and of what it is to be a human being.

In this conversation, Dr. Tallis is joined by Houston Centre Executive Director Jens Zimmermann and Dr. Robert Doede, Professor of Philosophy at Trinity Western University.
